Remember five posts ago I said "to be continued" (about leadership?) Well here it go's....
Today in Vanguard we had a class on Leadership (Its called leadership accadamy, well, I LOVED IT!! It was so awesome! Everyone shared some great insights and I go to share my poem (see on "The Blog of Random Poems") I Learned a-ton! We were talking about (Be it true or false) We think we will be able to talk spirit, to spirit, in Hevean, Which is why we need to control our thoughts down here on earth so we can still be in control of them in Heaven....just thought that was an interesting thought! In Vanguard we learn to become leaders, (because in public school there learning to be followers).

Speech and Debate class (again)
I'm liking the speech class, well so far. I'm still not sure what I think about the "tournaments" that we do, my first tournament is on November, 2, 2012. I'm so nervous I don't think I'll like it. But all well! There are 9 or 10 kids in my class, (including me), there are 4 girls and 5 or 6 boys. I think this class makes me hate debate even more! But I'll try to become better ;-). I'll let you more later!

Sunshine
Sunshine
Websters dictionary 1828
"The light of the sun, or the place where it shines; the direct rays of the sun, or the place where they fall."
Thesaurus
Sunlit, Sunshiny, Smiling :), Bright, Radiant.
My thoughts
Sunshine is bright, It is a light from the sun which is so bright we can't even look at it. When Joseph Smith describes the first vision he says "There was a light directly over my head, and its brightness was above the noon day sun" the "noon day sun" is really bright! But If Heavenly Fathers light is brighter then the noon day sun . . . it must be pretty bright! That reminds me of a primary song "Jesus wants me for a sunbeam" according to our Thesaurus sunbeam is just another way of saying sunlight!
The Prophets words
We can turn from the paths which would lead us down and, with a song in our hearts, follow a star and walk toward the light. We can quicken our step, bolster our courage, and bask in the sunlight of truth.

Mac and cheese, Piano and Choir!
The piano group I am in is called MAC and CHeese!! Which is why I have two pictures above(well I really have three :)), One of Mac and cheese and one of a piano! My Piano teacher Is also my choir teacher! I Love Music! Our choir group is all home schooled and I know everyone who is my age. My piano group Is interesting, the way we're taught is called simply music. I believe that it started in Australia, and has grown over the years. The "group" I'm in is called like i said "MAC and CHeese" There are 4 girls in it Me, Annabannana, Snickerdoddle and KittyKat. My name starts with M so I'm the M in Mac, Annabannanas name starts with A so shes the A in mAc. Snickerdoddles name starts with C so she is the C i maC. And KittyKats name starts with CH so shes the CH in CHeese. (We came up with the name :)).
Speech & Debate Class
I am taking a speech & a debate class, I'm kinda nervous. But I'm still excited! My friend, Sissa is taking it with me, and spicedoddle might be taking it to! I like speech, but I'm not sure about debate, I don't like arguments . . . at all. But I've taken speech before. (And a little bit of debate) I've enjoyed it, mostly .
I will let you know how It go's! (Today's the first day). It should be lots of fun!

PROS!!!. . . Oh and a tid bit about leadership!
Has anyone ever said to you, Your a pro! Being a Pro is more then just being an expert at something, it also stands for something else . . . .
P
"P" stands for Prayer we always need to pray, for forgiveness, for gratefulness, for help, for others, there are so many things to pray for.
R
"R" stands for read the scriptures. We all need to not only read but to Really study and ponder the scriptures.
O
"O" stands for obey the strength for youth pamphlet. It has some great stuff in there and if you have not read it yet, it should be next on your list!
S
"S" stands for what do you think? Smile! I explained most of this in my last post but really to be "PROS" we need to smile.
What makes a good leader? Is a good leader a pro? Does a good Leader Pray? Does a good leader Read the scriptures? Does a good leader Obey "For The Strength Of Youth" Pamphlet? Does a good leader Smile?
So What were your answers? Well I can tell you, from the 3rd question down the answer is YES!! Yes a good leader is a pro. WAIT! Does that mean i can't be a leader unless I'm a pro?! Nope. I can still be a leader, but I can't be a GOOD leader. Can you see the key word there? Or should I make it bigger? Here . . . I can still be a leader but I can't be a GOOD Leader!!!!
So how do you become a good leader? How do you recognise a bad leader? . . . I'll talk about that later . .
TO BE CONTINUED . . . .
